Test for the Alkalinity (Base) of solutions and products such as concrete.

Colour Change:
Clear [Acidic pH 1 – 7 (Water)] to  . . .  slightly Pink (Alkaline pH 7 – 14)

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Simply tear off a small strip of Phenolphthalein paper from roll. (5m)
2. Dip strip into solution, liquid or suspension for 3 sec.
3. The solution, etc is determined to be Alkaline by the presence of a faint, permanent, pink colouration of the Phenolphthalein paper.
4. Colour Change: pH 1 – 7 ( Acidic – Clear colour) . . . . . pH greater than 7.0 – 14 (Alkaline – faint Pink colour)
